Restorative Practice in Schools: Summer Skills Workshops
This set of workshops is designed to support educators, administrators, others who work with youth, and students in developing their restorative practice skills.
The first workshop, Introduction to Restorative Practices, is an introductory workshop during which participants will learn about the basics of restorative practice, learn how to facilitate circle, and consider how to use restorative practices in their work and lives. This is a 2-day in-person workshop held on July 18 and 19.
The second workshop, The Circle in Your Curriculum, is designed to build upon the introductory workshop, and is open to teachers and school administrators. In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to think more specifically about how to integrate restorative practices into their lives, curriculum, and classroom. This is a 2-day in-person workshop held on July 21 and 22.
